Fine Finnish Frozen Fings

Here's some photos from my recent trip to Helsinki where I went to seek out some snow during half term. Among them include (in no particular order):

an orthodox cathedral (Upenski) and a non Orthodox cathedral, the spatially innovative museum of contemporary art (Kiasma), the Finnish Functionalist style train station (I'd call it Art Deco), people skating on station aquare, boats in frozen water, bicycles frozen in snow, frozen plant pots, my half frozen bottle of water (bit of a theme here), A steel Sibelius sculpture, my friend - pre and post arm sling, a marimekko window display, some birds in a cage as part of an art installation (hmmm) and a reindeer sandwich.
